Elaphonisi Beach on the island of Crete, Greece. Rated the #1 beach in the world on Trip Advisor 2025. Within 10 minutes of being there, I declared it the best beach I’ve ever been to (not knowing its ranking).

This shallow section stretches for dozens of meters in both directions, separating the main island from a small islet.

Famous for tiny pink shells which makes the surf pink- although people taking it has evidently diminished this cool aspect.
