Reader. Writer. Weirder.

Hating Ronald Reagan is approximately 7% of my personality.
One of my favorite things about living by train tracks is seeing a lot of graffiti.

I, too, love tofu.

One of the things about getting old that sucks is losing the ability to see detail without enough light.

All the gorgeous rpg dice activate my dragon heart, but I know from experience that outside of perfect conditions and high contrast ink, I won’t be able to read the roll.

And still I yearn.

Sometimes your pantry supplies and a bit of festive news in this hellscape come together to form a batch of absolute unit cookies.

I do think a lawnmower has more humanity and does more good in the world.

Cheers.

David Lynch’s works showed me how delightful and deliciously terrifying weird art can be—while still having heart.

I rented a video to him one time and I barely kept it together. He was kind. I bet he remembered to rewind, too.

Though it stretches the definition I like 29th Street

Now THIS is a Christmas special.

Tried watching one of those cheesy Christmas shows.

The plot solution to free the single female lead to go off to Paris to dance?

Her male coworker with a family gets laid off and SHE VOLUNTEERS TO BE LET GO IN HIS PLACE because “he needs it more” and “God has a plan.”

That’s a holiday HELL NO

I love creepy hallways and bookshelves. Academic library stacks are a precious thing of beauty.

Visited a cool bookstore in Rochester, NY. Nice little SFF and horror sections. Zines. Witchy good vibes.

I don’t have a pet so I am always extra delighted to spend time with one. I have my book. She has her bed. Most agreeable company!

I chose this squash from the student farm for its threatening aura. I shall consume its strength and rage on.

Spending a lot of time losing myself in Dragon Age Veilguard and anxiety baking.

It’s dark days, but at least I have Cranberry Pear pie.

Another cocktail from the Dungeons & Flagons book.

This one is an Elfharrow Kiss. I like the smoky taste the Mezcal adds to the party.

I have been making cocktails from the Puncheons & Flagons book. Tonight is a Scrimshaw. Cheers!

Choosing dice for characters is such a fun part of the process! (And an excuse to add to the hoard).

My Tiefling College of Lore Bard/ Twilight Cleric likes drama and sparkle.

And my new Icy Drakona Guardian is all about blues, metals—and a splash of red.

Had to find something to do with leftover buttermilk so I baked Blueberry Biscuits with Honey Butter. Afternoon tea is now way more festive!

Looks like past me was having a stupid day. Good news is that checklist based humor still amuses me.

Also, guess I haven’t checked that list for at least 4 years. Very handy.
