A comic in black, white, and blue. A giant stomps through a smoking town made of old timey fantasy buildings and blocky office buildings as animal people point and blow whistles. The scene zooms out to reveal a small rat was looking at it through a telescope from far away. Their friends, a rabbit and a fox, come to check on the rat. The fox asks "Any updates from the big city Critters?" and the rat says "Mm..." The rat hands the telescope to the rabbit, who looks through it to see a giant looming over a house with unhappy faces in the windows, next to a house with unhappy rats in the windows. "Eesh" says the rabbit. The rat says "Mm" again. "That's no good," says the fox. "Mm," the rat agrees, "it looks like a bunch of shops are closed and I can't tell if the shopkeeps are hiding or, y'know." The rat points to some letters at their feet, and says "My folks sent some letters. They say people are really helping each other out! Real promising community effort!" They continue describing the letters as scenes illustrating the points are shown. "There've been people volunteering to stand guard, lawyers working hard to help, food drives and deliveries for people who can't go out. But," they say as they and their friends are shown watching the smoke on the horizon, "it's hard to see any of that stuff from way out here."
