Wondering why 2nd hand listings of Buskirk's most recent book feature a different title to the cover, @gilduran.com?

Did he publish it originally as "How the American Elites Won, Lost, and Can Win Again", and then republish it with a new title when he realised it didn't fit the populist narrative?

The top comment on Spotify beneath a recent Joe Rogan episode 🤦🏼‍♂️

1.1k of those 1.4k reactions are hearts.

Dark times.

Please enjoy this awkward moment during Elon Musk's recent appearace on the All-In podcast, when the hosts brought up that it was 3 years since he took over Twitter.

At the recent Network State Conference, Ben Horowitz of Andreessen-Horowitz (a16z) told Balaji Srinivasan that the prominent tech VC firm "believed in the whole thing [the Network State ideology] from 'The Sovereign Individual' on up", and wants to be a part of it.

If anyone thinks Thiel's view is a one-off, note that Palmer Luckey of weapons company Anduril (another part of the Thielverse) gave a talk at Thiel's Hereticon in 2024 in which he said the Na'avi in James Cameron's 'Avatar' were the bad guys for stopping progress.

A reminder that Peter Thiel loves a piece of Tolkien fan-fiction that paints Sauron and Mordor as the good guys because they're a "technological civilization", while the elves, hobbits and men are bad because they're all "mystical and environmental"...

There was plenty of unhinged stuff in Peter Thiel's Antichrist lecture series, but I don't think enough people have appreciated/laughed their asses off at the fact that in his little numerological riff HE INCLUDED A FICTIONAL CHARACTER as if it was meaningful. 😂

Peter Thiel citing Alan Moore's Watchmen in his Antichrist lecture series feels like sacrilege.

Peter Thiel is going to burn the world to the ground because of his fear that he might have to pay a substantial amount of tax.

(Also: Kind of hilarious how he must be so disappointed that the untaxable world promised to him by The Sovereign Individual didn't eventuate 😂)

Actually Bill, your critics aren't concerned with regular folk in Saudi Arabia, and unlike you definitely didn't think they are all savages with machetes.

The critique is of you taking money from the *ruling regime*, which *chops its critics up with a bone saw* if they speak out about the regime.

Beyond Musk's long-time beef with Wikipedia, 'Grokipedia' appears to have been created at the suggestion of the All In Podcast tech-douches when they interviewed Musk a few weks ago, simply because they don't like their Wikipedia bio pages.

Can add this Elon Musk prediction of the Tesla 'Summon' feature working from across the country by 2018 to the long list of bullshit claims he's made over the years.

The back of this t-shirt features an image of the Grim Reaper with a rifle, and the text "That which doesn't kill me had better start running"

FWIW, the t-shirt being worn by Tyler Robinson's father in this pic appears to be (AFAICT) the 'Fear the Reaper' shirt by Warrior 12, an apparel company known for making far-right merchandise (anti-Clinton, pro-police/military/gun culture, Crusades/Roman Empire-related mottos etc.)

Charlie Kirk was a multimillionaire who was surrounded by multibillionaire friends, but MAGA are still making the poors cough up money for him. Wild.

Joe Rogan gets fooled by an obviously-AI-generated video of Tim Walz.

Dude is the most gullible man on the planet, seriously.

"I'm blown away by this Praxian shit...I had no idea this was even a thing."

Oh Joe, you're so close to figuring out that Thiel and the other Dark Enlightenment billionaires have been playing you like a fiddle.

You had no idea because you've been fed their stream of bullshit for years now.

In particular, they looked at one Network State initiative, Praxis.

Both seemed confused that Praxis talks about 'defending the West', instead of America.

Heads up to Tim and Joe: 'Defending the West' is white nationalism code talk. See Praxis mention here:
