PS: The real crime is how those of who appreciate #HotWheels fantasy castings are forgotten. We don't get premium versions with metal/metal construction, Real Rider tires and super detailed deco. Plus, finding classic fantasy castings at meets is a challenge because vendors don't offer them.

What's to gain by doing this? It just seems to create more division and actual negativity in the thing we are all supposed to enjoy together.

Countering negativity with more negativity doesn't make the hobby a positive place.

But, I get the frustration of not getting something you want. I get wanting to express that frustration to a community of fellow hobbyists. And I get railing at the fact that source of your frustration is also the source of your passion

An attack on your hobbies, your likes, your favorites feels like an attack on you. It shouldn't, but even I've felt that way before. And it takes me more than a few deep breaths to shake that feeling.

It feels like a lack of grace for the person complaining. I don't go for premiums or chases...

And then creating content based on this attitude just invites other to dogpile on the person complaining. It's kinda ugly to witness.

I mean, I get it, it's easy to let yourself be defined by your likes and dislikes. We've all seen how this plays out in social media over the last decade or so.

It seems just a weird thing to come to the defense of a multimillion dollar corporation against a fellow hobbyist/collector. I think that sharing the same passion for a thing should make you more sympathetic to the other person's expression of frustration.

But, I see this attitude a lot.

The last thing I did was drew up an order of battle for these forces. I researched model kits for these armies. I'd have to find dwarven cannons for Snow White and barbarians for the Snuggly Duckling mercs. But, never figured out how to represent Atlantican shore guard.

From the Royal Princesses Snow White would provide Ironhead Dwarven batteries, Aurora sent her royal armored knight cavalry to reinforce Cinderella's light chasseurs.

The Imperial Army would have Wesselton artillery, dragoons from the South Isles, heavy cavalry from Corona, Snuggly Duckling mercenaries, all supported by Coldheart infantry from Arendelle.

The empire was formed when Arendelle conquered Wesselton and the Southern Isles. The kingdom of Corona would join the empire as Rapunzel is cousin to Elsa and Anna.

The Royal Princesses Snow White, Cinderella, and Aurora would form a pact with the New Princesses Merida, Ariel, and Belle.

The Great Princess War Napoleonics.

I would use 15mm or 10mm minis. The setting would be the Royal Princess Alliance resisting conquest by the Empire of Arendelle.

I feel myself slowing on #Gaslands builds. I think I'm skipping the Gaslands UK CoTM and my next local build-off. I put away all my cars because of the slumber party this past weekend and it'll stay that way until after Thanksgiving.

I feel like there's an opening for me to hobby jump again.

I've also gone down the same path with Gaslands. Hobby rabbit holes are insidious.

I went from WH40K Eldar to OPR Disney Army to considering a Napoleonic Great Princess War . The setting would be the Great Princess Powers forming an alliance to defend against conquest by the Empire of Arendelle.

I've already got over 700 #diecast vehicles, loose, carded and in boxes. I can't collect another series.

I really enjoy your support vehicles and they're making me want to collect and paint a fleet of tiny military vehicles.
