New Acela door problems and a large delay *drink*

WMATA has a massive problem with not consolidating stops in general but this is just silly for the new streamlined routes not to have a closer stop for connections there

My handwritten notes from a few years ago on what I had that doesn’t include the Acela or two Tomix sets and the decoders I needed to acquire

Ostensibly I am setting up a good portion of stuff for a model railroading event to justify this

I don’t have that much because I almost exclusively model electrified railroads. I only have a very nice ACS-64 set with rolling stock sets to model regional and long distance viewliner consists and a somewhat messed up N Scale Acela set

The other map with all bus routes in DC is just directly applied to the wall and across the mezzanine from the bus stop map as well. I think the decision to go away from the last wayfinding consultant/firm was just a bad choice as well.

The simplification of the route to cut out the jog over to Adams Morgan was fine if we were to receive that frequency boost in exchange. Especially given the relatively short distance most are traveling along the corridor especially as a metro feeder

I don’t know the last time I looked at bus schedules that weren’t work related on anything other than mobile

The school routes depicted here are interesting and mostly good (the location of MacArthur High School is still bad)

lol, I mean I have tried to withdraw as much as possible. 25 days on the east coast and working about 20 hours less a week than I have been the past 5 months means I have more time off this bs 😅
