update. I'm in the home stretch. Just put my second coat of finish on it. Added a pre-restoration comparison picture.

clamping a big flat surface is annoying. giving this 48h to cure then putting the nose piece on after some trim router work

So i cut it down! It's a but under 2/3 of its previous depth now. I had to make some table saw jigs for re-depthing the drawers.

new project. my partner bought this old cabinet which had some damage. it was one of those purchases that brings regret with time. Here are two shots of it without the drawers in it.

I'll be using glue and screws to attach them to the drawer fronts. That's the next step. I hope the drawers will help me to get rid of the mess.

did some wood turning. Shaker pulls with 3/4 inch tenons for my shop drawers, out of brown ash with a nit of epoxy. Finished with blo.

it has been a while since i made spaghetti allo scamarro, one of my favorite Neapolitan pasta dishes. My sautee pan has bread crumbs, olive oil, raisins, pumpkin seeds, capers, and kalamata olives. And chiles.

yet another project. i had this rusty old broken cast iron sewing machine body. was going to make a table and sell it, but i discovered when cleaning it up that the bearings were still good. scoured, repainted matte black, and reassembled: lets try it out!
