Welcome back, we're in the Laird's Room for #Wednesday100 since I've been crocheting baby blankets so it's cozy time even as the weather is warming 😘 (And yes, this follows in-universe continuity 😌)
Wednesday 100: Protectors "Are you certain this can't wait?" Claire asks as she ties Jamie's stock. "The snow is dreadful, and there aren't many warm places on the road." He tugs her nearer. "If I could, I'd stay in the warmest place of all forever. But we need to sell the goods now, and fetch supplies from Inverness besides." "And dinna fash, Mam," says a sleepy voice as Bree sits up in their bed. "Da'll have this." Coming over, she presents the blanket he'd wrapped her in newly born. "Aye, this'll keep me perfectly warm," Jamie says, rough-voiced, and cuddles her between them.

Wednesday 100: The Brightness Ahead "I wonder what I'll do when I'm grown," Brianna muses to Kitty as they walk back from school. "Fergus'll be laird, o' course, but perhaps I'll help? He doesna like the sums and figuring..." "What does it matter?" snorts Andrew Milne from behind. "Ye're a girl! Girls only have bairns when they're grown." Scornfully, Bree says, "I dinna listen to fools, and that's what ye are. My auntie Jenny helps run the estate, and my mam's a healer." "Aye, Auntie Claire helped birth you," Kitty laughs, and they both continue home proud and sure in the possibility of their futures.

He was going home with Regina. His wildest dreams were coming true. They left John’s bar after finishing their dreams. He took her hand and giving it a squeeze. Robin pointed down the street. “The subway is this way.” “Is your place far from here?” she asked, biting her lip. “It’s a few blocks away,” he replied. “Walkable but faster by train.” She looked up at the elevated track over their heads before asking: “Can we walk? I want to enjoy this warm night.” He nodded, wanting to make her last night here as special as possible. “Okay. Let’s walk.”
