It feels about as weird as it looks. Imagine having a huge gas bubble in your gut that can move up and down and side to side. Amazing that every single one of us was at some point a tiny squirming thing inside someone else.

John Grant’s The Art of the Lie could easily be my favorite album of 2024, so that doesn’t surprise me, but even though Otis Redding is fine I definitely don’t remember listening to him much this year..? Maybe it’s a sign that I should!
