We raced on it, but only just barely. The previous statement about replacement on hand was a lie. Supposedly, an aramid replacement is on order, now, for realz. Errybody hates to do maintenance. Can’t say that the democracy thing is looking all that great, either.

I wonder if Spanish has terms of venery? Seems like a collective noun having to do with the most careless kind of heartless enshittification would be appropriate?

My sweetie brought this bit of ephemera back from the fabric shop.
I’m not a sewist, but have mended things, including sails and boots. These cards often came with large eye, sturdy needles.
She gave me the cover, kept the needles, 😂.

Needed to get the keel off the cart and set up so that I can begin repairs. Trailer isn’t too high, so it was tricky making room for the comealong, but it eventually worked out.
