Astrid Lindgren, Erich Kästner and many others kept what ended up being their war diaries. This is mine.

American Police State: Congress has just authorized $170B for ICE (not $37.5B), more than the ENTIRE NATIONAL DEFENSE BUDGET for every country on the planet except China.🤮

Mir fehlt der Zusatz "und wir hatten das auch niemals vor. Wir wollten nur stänkern und das Wahlvieh manipulieren."

Twenty years ago, Europe taught "American dream - American nightmare" to highschoolers. Next year, it's ging to be "American democracy - American facism". And I wish I were only saying this to make a point, but alas, here is my lesson plan.

I'm officially afraid now, because I'm gonna be that soon, too. I just checked, and you're only eligible for the vaccine at 60 in my country, 50 if you're officially immune suppressed. 😭

Which sort of middle age are you talking about btw? More 40ish or more 60ish?

I even got in contact with someone who had it during pregnancy. Glad about my booster.
It drives me nuts how many people these days refuse to have their kids vaccinated. What sort of over-privileged ignorance. 😩

Before i planned to get pregnant, i had my MMR titer tested just in case. Turned out Measles and Mumps were just fine, but oddly, Rubella wasn't. Glad I was able to get the booster before the first pregnancy.
