B-Movie Sci-Fi mini review:
Just finished this Star Wars knock off from 1983. It's pretty good SFX wise, but the plot is lacking. I'd put it between Turkish Star Wars and Billy Ocean's music video for "Loverboy" in the rankings of Star Wars knock offs. Worth a watch while recovering from surgery

Happy New Years everyone! In a tradition that I've been doing since my 10 year old self rented this movie from the video store in 1992, I'll be eating pizza and watching the great "Ernest Scared Stupid (1991). It's nostalgic, and this marks 23 years that I've kept this tradition going. Cheers y'all

"So Bad it's Good" horror recommendation: Scanner Cop (1994)
This is the 4th movie in the Scanner's franchise, and it's basically "what if Scanners, but also cops." It's cheesy, got that good mid-90's horror feel, and the scenes where they...scan(?) each other are hilarious. Good cheesy horror fun

Finally got around to seeing this movie after several recommendations. Overall I liked it! Not a huge fan of "found footage" style movies but at least this one was less pretentious than others in the same genre.
