With these words, Sr. Laura Vicuña Pereira Manso, a Franciscan catechist and a member of Brazil’s Indigenous Kariri people, urged over young Catholics to help protect the Amazon and the world’s natural resources from further destruction.

They met with the Speaker of the House, spoke with several Liberal and Conservative MPs, and observed Question Period from the gallery.
