I’ve spent many years making art that doesn’t fit into shows or common narratives, and I’ve struggled with whether that’s good or bad, and if I was tying to make a living at it, It would be bad. But right now, in 2025, I just need to get some stuff off my chest And scream into the void

i think from the standpoint of mass consumerism youre right. But the individual experience of encountering a profound or moving work of art can happen when an artist expresses something they need to say, without regard for convention. many will hate it but a few will say “this goes so hard”
