I think another thing to call out is that this is also why the fight for trans rights is so powerful. Trans and nonbinary people aren’t just fighting for their own freedom from gender stereotypes; they’re liberating all of us from them.

Also, there are countries in currency unions and those that don't have their own currency, those that find printing too expensive, etc. Again, though, doesn't apply to the USA.

It depends on what currency your debt is denominated in. The US can't, as our debt is in dollars, but a smaller country might have external debt in a foreign currency.
