I think it’s very clear that if the very worst thing can happen then that is what will happen.

This makes me sick. My child and I were part of the group that met with him last year. He said at the time he wanted to work with us. He promised to get back to me about things I raised, and he has ignored us ever since. He is choosing to only hear and work with abusive parents instead.

I've found most people think I'm younger than I am, and even more so since I started HRT.

Absolutely, it's a constant source of frustration that the only people that get to talk about transgender issues are the most ignorant, ridiculous and downright stupid people on Earth.

And not, you know, transgender people.

This is exactly my experience as well.

When I came out to my parents, my dad said "I always thought there was something you were sad about". He was exactly right, but I didn't have the language to express what it was.

Having people that know NOTHING of this experience talk over us is horrific.
