Don't sweat it, variety is the spice of life. Sometimes it's cool to have a big narrative, sometime it's cool to just have vibes and motifs without narrative in the way.

If a story is sad but meaningful, I'll usually play it just once. It was enough to experience it once. If it's a more joyful uplifting tale, I'll often come back to it for the vibes.

I would love to have that for the Symphogear mobile.. liked the story of that better than the actual anime.

I really love it when the artist does a little work to imply a story even when they don't go to the effort of making a comic. Even a little dialogue from an offscreen character or narrator can go a long way.

I feel like what we've seen of Rosie is warm, friendly, and eager to play, though maybe a little nervous around strangers. I don't think there's anything wrong with the simple answer, and I think the simple answer is a dog, shopping around for a breed with lots of floof as needed.
