Thanks to our incredible partners, some of the largest tech companies have deployed this emissions-slashing technology, resulting in less pollution from the electricity consumption of internet-connected devices like smart phones, thermostats, EV chargers, and more.

Last year, Akamai, Teradyne, & Wayfair joined forces as a part of the consortium, teaming up to enable the development of the 135 MW Prairie Solar project in Champaign County, Illinois.
⚡️The project will cause 130,000 tonnes of carbon emissions to be avoided annually, by producing 300,000 MWh/year.

Say it louder for the people in the back: GHG accounting standards should measure actual emissions induced and avoided, not just provide an agreed-upon way to assign blame — one that doesn’t effectively drive decisions that reduce more emissions.
