Sadly giving up on reading a book by an author I have always enjoyed. Saint Julian by Walter Wangerin is, for me, unreadable. Just doesn't grab me. Hate giving up on a book

A stormy wet day is definitely the day to visit the recycling centre. But a tip. Don't pick up an old water butt to throw it in the skip before checking it is empty. Home for a shower now😭😆😂

Indeed. When they rounded up the Japanese Americans, myself and my family included, for internment during WWII out of fear over Japanese spies and saboteurs, two thirds of us were U.S. citizens.
Don’t think it won’t happen again when they come for the “undocumented.”
