I think there's at least a chance to see them tomorrow night, I'd go looking right around dusk when it's getting dark (preferably as far from city lights as you can get)

On the other hand, there's a bunch of "not my thing" kinks that I've been able to let someone do to me because I enjoyed them enjoying it. I still have my firm no-go's, but being more open makes you more fun!

It took a few minutes outside adjusting our eyes before we saw even faint bits, but my phone's camera was PERFECT for it, thankfully. Downtown has so much light pollution though, unless you can get on a rooftop somewhere, it may drown it out :(
