The db16 palette by DawnBringer - the most versatile palette I ever used!

All of Owlsgards assets were done with this palette as the base. The character sprites stick to only these 16 colors, while the backgrounds use blended versions.
I wonder if anyone noticed! ;D

If this gives you "SNES era language selection screen"-flashbacks, I think I succeeded. :3

Moving on with recreating some in-game graphics for the french and spanish version.

Alright! Just finished inserting all the translated spanish text, now it's time to update every language related in-game graphic (GUI's, overworld map names, artsy cutscene text etc). Lets gooo!

I really enjoy posting these "Doom engine prerender VS final scene" thingies!

I especially love this one here because of how absolutely unnecessary the prerender was, at least in hindsight. But I did it anyway - never change a running system!🙂

I used the classic Doom engine to pre-render certain backgrounds for Owlsgard. Who recognizes this scene? EASY EDITION🤓

This was my favorite bug during development. If I forgot to add one line of code at the end of a dialogue, Finn and Gwen's heads would start floating away and you could play the rest of the game with two floating heads as the player characters. Fun!

This pic depicts my mood after LITERALLY MONTHS. OF. COPYPASTING. ALL. 14000+ TRANSLATED. LINES. BACK. INTO. THE. GAME.

But hey, the spanish and french update is slowly nearing!!!
I'm gonna celebrate that with every bit of sanity that is still left lol
