Harvard has set an example for other higher-ed institutions - rejecting an unlawful and ham-handed attempt to stifle academic freedom, while taking steps to make sure students can benefit from an environment of intellectual inquiry, rigorous debate and mutual respect. Let’s hope others follow suit.

What years at Berea? JBS gave commencement address there 2 or 3 times.
That’s when my mother graduated Maynardville High and got a job in a Knoxville shoe plant. She wanted more and went to Berea, got a degree in home economics, worked at Pine Mountain Settlement School and for the WPA to build school lunchrooms, then the health-insurance office at Oak Ridge, 1942-52.
