mb they're remastering berseria bc it's so recent it's really easy to do so. just bump up frame rates and add a brightness filter and give everyone grade shop items and boom. remaster.

update to last night, my friend fully apologized and admitted it WAS a them thing (and an "unfortunate reality" thing) so we're good. i do think maybe I'll stop using afab since i didn't even realize it was objectionable to some people but there are discussions where you kind of have to include it

studying for my required civic exam and it just hit me with "Which United States Supreme Court decision resulted in reduced power for state governments?" the answer they wanted is Roe v Wade.
i was straight up speechless. i hate this state. that's an insane way to discuss that case

Why am I so against generative AI in games?
Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

i think one of the hardest things for me to reconcile in my adult life is that i think i am a good person, and i think i am a kind person, but i don't think i am a nice person or a particularly likeable person. hundreds of people would not show up to my funeral; many people actively dislike me, etc.
