Hyper fixation works well in academic study and careers that require detailed knowledge of a very specific area.

Im sure it will happen eventually if Labour can win the next election too, but as I say, priorities…

Informally, never at policy level and there are a lot more priorities to be addressed before that one like infrastructure, the NHS, poverty etc.
