A year ago, I published a major review on supramolecular gels. It was rejected by the journal that commissioned it, with referees saying it wasn't worth publishing, and ended up in a low-IF (<4) journal. I'm vindicated to see that in <12 months, it's been cited 35 times.

I may be biased, but I'd say the compiled book is a perfect Christmas present for someone you love - I've recently dropped the price to £18.50, which is about as low as I can go for a 250 page self-published full-colour book and still make a little money for myself.

It sold >1000 copies, and combined with it's sequel as 'Tw-Eat Together', won a Gourmand World Cookbook Award.
