First indication that the U.S. economy is contracting. Look at the graph/trend. People who are out of work cannot pay rent/mortgages, car notes, credit card bills, buy groceries or spend on ostentatious goods. At this rate, the U.S. economy will crash by the end of the 3rd or 4th quarter of 2025.
