So for no reason in particular, concept to draft, for me. This is my OC Quin and Halsin, a character from Baldur's Gate 3, in winterwear. This isn't the final piece, but I thought it might be nice for people to see what concept actually means.

"Hey Astarion. It doesn't matter." Astarion snaps out of the daze. "What?!" Quin holds out his arms. "We can leave it, yeah? It's just a thing. Let's get out of here." "But the treasure-" "'There'll be more treasure, darling.' Right?" "We met a god and didn't die!" "YOU nearly died! Twice!" Karlach interjects. "I thought we'd need Withers, once." Lae'zel is not amused. "Can we not discuss this and go?" Quin continues. "Regardless, a win in my book!" Astarion pulls out the trinket he found. "??None of you are at least a little angry?" "About what?" He holds up the star key. "I found this." He looks away dejectedly. "If we could just get the shouting over with-" He's interrupted. "OMG Astarion you genius!" "Wut?!" Quin takes the treasure. "You found this?! That's incredible!" He takes the star and places it in the pillar to get the mace, Lathander's Blood. Astarion looks on in shock. "Good job, Fangs! Well found." Karlach bumps his shoulders. Lae'zel leans in. "I knew you were not completely useless." Quin brings over the mace. I'm not sure I understand, thinks Astarion. "Here Astarion, you earned it." Astarion takes the mace with an incredulous look. It feels like a trick. But- I think, maybe, I will have the chance to. He realises he's been abandoned with the heavy weapon. "Wait! This is HEAVY! QUIN!"

"Hiding" a #BaldursGate3 fancomic featuring Astarion, Lae'zel, Karlach, and my Tav Quin. This finishes up my gith creche comics! We're gonna build some new foundations for Astarion one brick at a time. 1/2
Astarion gets ready for an event, one of the other spawn ask him if he's ready "Of course." He says, while thinking about his hunger. Cazador appears behind him suddenly, "Not hiding anything are we? Boy?" Astarion starts to panic. "You ARE...What is it?! GIVE it to ME." Someone shakes his shoulder, "Astarion?" Astarion 'wakes up' and hisses, "Don't touch me!" Karlach waves her hands in defence "Whoa! Easy, sorry mate. You were so far away." The team of Lae'zel, Astarion, Karlach, and Quin stand in a cavern looking at the Blood of Lathander and the defensive crystals. Astarion asks, "What's the hold up?" Karlach answers, "Quin's not sure." "I just think it's a little TOO easy. Any weapon from Lathander would possibly help. But...well...What do you think Astarion?" Astarion looks surprised. "M-Me??" "Yeah," Answers Quin, "You're good with traps." In his mind Astarion hears the words of Cazador again. "ARE YOU HIDING SOMETHING?" He starts to curl inwards. "Everything okay?" Ask's Quin but he's faded into the background. "What's wrong, Fangs?" "They just look like tacky ornaments to me." Astarion answers grumpily. Except, maybe...he thinks. That looks like the trinket I found! Now they're interested, why should I share? If it's valuable it's MINE. Astarion stutters out loud, the others look on in worry. "Is something wrong?" "I'm sure it's fine, Lae'zel." "Do we need to fight?!" Internally, Astarion is trapped with Cazador, who say's "You own nothing. I own you. You ARE nothing. They will discover the truth. You will be abandoned and you will return. TO ME."

A small nurgling is forming out of a smelly pile of something. Barnabas is trying to drop a match on it, but is struggling with it's ridiculous effort at looking cute. Behind him one of the retinue: "Barnabas! What's the hold up?" Barnabas addresses the Nurgling. "Please don't look at me like that, it's not very Chaos of you..." Behind him the voice gets panicky "Emperor's Teeth! Argenta, get the flame-thrower!" Barnabas continues to address the nurgling. "Now see what you've done?"
