We need more law firms to stand up & protect the rule of law. Good on @marcelias.bsky.social & ELG for doing just that.
“Elias Law Group will not be deterred from fighting for democracy in court. There will be no negotiation with this White House about the clients we represent or the lawsuits we bring on their behalf."

On stage, Ehikian asked GSAi to "write me a plan to rewrite the FAR"

The FAR, Federal Acquisition Regulations, are laws that control how the gov't buys stuff. They are legendary in their complexity for a good reason: to prevent corruption. To protect taxpayer money from theft by beltway bandits.

Together, these two faiths crave the end of American liberal democracy and government. You can smell it at GSA.

I have friends and colleagues who were fired for no reason this week. Everyone at every federal department/agency is on edge, frustrated, scared, and still trying to do their work for their agency.

These are people with mortgages, school loans, car loans, kids to feed.

The chunkster, Don Quixote, is Off My Shelf! 7 prompts done.

If I clear the board, I’ll start over & see if I can do it again (because I have *that* many books on my TBR bookcase).

So far in January, I’ve read at least 100 pages every day & I’m half-way through the chunkster!

Another book #OffMyShelf & onto my PangoBooks bookshelf.

So far, January is a stellar reading month (mostly thanks to snow and cold temps!). I’ve read at least 100 pages every day.
