U.S. voters elected a felon and prevented further prosecutions of him for his many crimes. Heaven help us all.
A tweet by Karen Piper (@PiperK) reads: "There it is. Below the tweet is an excerpt from a document that discusses the Department's view that the Constitution prohibits the indictment and prosecution of a sitting President, regardless of the gravity of the crimes charged, and indicates that sufficient evidence existed to obtain a conviction at trial.
