While in Palermo, we stayed within 100 yards of Porta Felice. I took pics from the front and back of the structures and found a picture of when the structures were bombed during WW II. They were rebuilt after the war, as you can see.

One of the worst parts of disaster recovery is dealing with looters. I've had them arrested in the past and can not understand what makes humans want to steal from people who are dealing with the worst days of their life. #Sad

IMO I don't enjoy going to football games. My friend just went to a college game and left in the third. To many f bombs and drunk people falling on his family. They spent a good amount of $$ to take his family. His wife and kids are done going to games. ☹️

While working disasters, I'd try and attend local races. In TX waiting track prep to finish, I called home to check on the family. They picked my number and won a shirt. I quickly hung up to get the shirt. Got the cold shoulder when I called later. I still have the shirt and the family 😃
