Please be nice to each other!
I find these pictures surreal too - I wish I knew the location. I would guess some roadside attraction where they had domesticated the deer. These appear to be from a family road trip in 1958, but the location is bound to remain a mystery to me.

That's such a great venue too. I haven't been to a show since before the pandemic... I'm trying to retrain myself to start doing more fun things again. But I bought tickets to Liz Phair in November, so that's a start.

Wait... I just remembered you're nearby, so you've got the same weather. (I was reminded of this fact last week when I saw the pictures of Tangerine Dream & immediately wished that I had been motivated to buy tickets.)

Awww thanks. And good morning - I hope the weather is nicer where you're at. I've cancelled plans to head downtown and am in the process of deciding if I'm lazy enough to order delivery. 🙂

My favorite books in the collection are the Oz books. Most of them are early editions (not in great shape) but they were my Mom's favorite as a child & she read them to me when I was very young.

I've been meaning to re-read them sometime. It's been years.

I found the site helpful because it allows you to use a barcode scanner which is great for most books from the 1970s forward. Older books are tougher to catalog because you have to manually enter the ISBN. The subscription is a couple of dollars a month.

It's just a shell of what it was. I've been wrapping up the process of deleting tweets, and this is what most of the pages I hit look like now:
