Said goodbye to a friend in the ICU today. Sorry, not gonna post a photo of him like that. But this life is so random and cold. The universe doesn’t punish or reward. I cannot believe in a “grand plan.” No one was given to a family on this earth and cruelly purposed for what I saw today. 😢

On this day in 1868, the 14th Amendment was ratified. The text is just as clear and relevant today as it was back then. Donald Trump is trying to erase this.

Apparently “fiscal responsibility” means blowing up the national debt to pay for billionaire and millionaire tax cuts while spending more on ICE than all other law enforcement agencies combined. How spineless and/or racist are congressional republicans?

Some of these people called being asked to wear masks to protect their fellow human beings “tyranny.” These ignorant, drama queens are about to find out exactly what “big, beautiful” tyranny looks like.

If the government shuts down Saturday, the richest man in the world will be largely to blame.

There have been recalls in the last month on carrots, cucumbers, chicken products, and more. Recalls that saved countless people from infection and possibly death from salmonella, listeria and E. coli poisoning. What would have happened without an FDA?

I’m not a fan of RFK. But I am not against banning pharma from direct to consumer advertising like the rest of the free world. Although I’ll admit I’ve auditioned for some pharma industry commercials.
