The Act sets standards which must be met by each province, or the province may not receive a full transfer amount from the federal government. The feds help to fund healthcare but the provinces decide how to spend.

Medical care is a provincial responsibility, but if the feds invest in health infrastructure then the provinces will have more to spend on other medical priorities.

A face-saving apology was easy and cost nothing. Meanwhile, Carney pursues the goals of Canada becoming our own best customer, which could replace lost US trade entirely; and, doubling non-US trade within 10 years, possibly sooner. #cdnpoli

Straight culture insists on compartmentalizing "the nuclear family". But the most elegant and sensible evolutionary explanation for same-sex attracted individuals is that we contributed to raising the young of the whole tribe.
