I am feeling so much more confident and strong after getting through Phase 1 of this program. Phase 2 has begun and I am already seeing how Phase 1 prepared me. I am stronger and smoother and better able to power through when the work gets hard.

I thought this workout was going to kill me. I'm not sure what it was, but I had to stop a few times because my heart rate was getting dangerously high. I was able to take a couple extra minutes to breathe and then dive back in. Feels good looking back on it now.

Day 1 of the new 12 week program is done. It was far from ideal conditions. I was tired, I wasn't focused, I didn't have the right nutrition, I wasn't hydrated, and I didn't want to do it. But I did it anyway. And I am proud.

Yesterday I had to say goodbye to my best friend in the whole world. My little kitty buddy Franzel crossed the rainbow bridge to be with his sister who passed away back in December. It was his time, as he was in pain and had started to decline quickly. I miss him so much already.
