This should be the mantra of the Democratic Party going forward. I even made it into a simple graphic.

Now more than ever, the base is ready. Democrats are there.

It can happen Look at New York, a Dem machine state.

DSA, Mamdani, and AOC are changing it. Hochul is resisting, sure, but at her own peril.

This isn’t rocket science. America needs an opposition party willing to be an opposition party.

We do not currently have one.

Democrats have tried it the other way. Over and over. They’ve had moderates and centrists in charge. The progressive wing has waited and waited.

And things have gotten worse and worse.

It desperately needs stronger leaders.

And that means it needs hardline progressive leaders. When you start from the moderate position, you have less room to negotiate.

And you end up getting less every time.

Frankly, every single one of those 8 senators should be forced into retirement.

This country cannot have moderates as leading the only major opposition to a fascist political party built on white supremacy and grievance, religious bigotry, and entrenched wealth.

We need to rebalance our discourse; pull it back from the far-right brink.
