This should be the mantra of the Democratic Party going forward. I even made it into a simple graphic.

Sad day for the folks who staked their reputations on lab leak conspiracy theories.

More context on Berenson, this is his pinned tweet.

Let me just say…yikes.

My point was you made a logical fallacy, asserting that the current absence of an intermediate host animal meant that the lab leak was more likely than market origins.

You said so explicitly.

But then you denied it, acknowledging that in fact, it does not actually make the lab leak more likely.

Sayer Ji, who was named in the Center for Countering Digital Hate’s Disinformation Dozen report on the internet’s most prolific anti-vax misinformation spreaders, accuses the grassroots March for Health and Science of being “pharma-linked.”

Hilarious.

I’ve figured it out: WaPo’s editorial board sits comfortably between Liz Cheney and Amy Klobuchar politically.

And it sucks.
October 27, 2025 at 2:30 PM
Seriously, the entire function of the editorial board seems to be deflating progressive momentum and normalizing right-wing, billionaire-backed positions to a liberal audience.
October 27, 2025 at 7:43 AM
The WaPo editorial board is basically a Wall Street Journal opinion contributor.
October 27, 2025 at 7:36 AM
All of these positions are exactly what you’d expect a billionaire to argue.
October 27, 2025 at 7:36 AM
But okay, this is after Bezos “meddled,” so let’s take a look at the good ol’ days…
October 27, 2025 at 7:36 AM
The editorial board of Jeff Bezos’ Washington Post has been a regressive nightmare for years, virtually indistinguishable from the Wall Street Journal.

A thread.

Let’s start with the last few weeks.

Right-wing ideology has no place in science. Its entire function is to destroy science.

It’s not “academic bigotry,” it’s a lesson that we should have already learned but are now learning in real time.

Right-wing political operative Bhattacharya is one of our key instructors.

Literally every Dem midterm (and beyond) campaign ad should be:

Donald Trump and the GOP are destroying America.

We’re going to stop them.
October 20, 2025 at 10:32 PM
Trump’s lack of respect for this country and its history and progress is staggering.

It feels useless to say “Imagine if Obama had done this” because the GOP is nothing if not utterly hypocritical.

They’d be up in arms and we all know it.

This is so disheartening.

Anyway, here’s a couple notable internal Brownstone emails from founder Jeffrey Tucker admitting, in March 2023, to supporting child labor and youth smoking.
October 19, 2025 at 10:36 PM
Okay, confirmed: Brownstone co-founder Lucio Eastman goes by Lou sometimes.

Lou Eastman is named in the sexual harassment document Politico obtained for allegedly making AIER interns uncomfortable by showing up at their rooms when they were getting out of the shower ostensibly to bring them coffee.
October 18, 2025 at 11:45 PM
Jeffrey Tucker is legit one of the creepiest people in the country.

From promoting child labor to pushing cigarettes on his own son, to trying to scuttle COVID mitigation measures (which, I should note, interfered with the allegedly sex pesty life he was living at AIER—see screenshot)…creepy.
October 18, 2025 at 7:21 PM
Tucker was also accused of declaring there were “no rules” at AIER 🤢🤮

And his Trad Catholic thing really uh…falls apart in private, according to these claims.

Another name in this document is Lou Eastman. I believe this refers to Lucio Eastman, formerly of AIER and co-founder of Brownstone.
October 18, 2025 at 7:15 PM
The sexual harassment allegations uncovered by Politico are fucking wild.

Jeffrey Tucker was accused of trying to dress women up like they were “dolls” and other sex pest behavior like encouraging people to have sexual relationships.

AIER sounds absolutely miserable and weird as hell.
