The left argues almost exclusively through identity markers. So the opponents imagined intentions become the main course. And personality, i.e. which virtues they signal, which taboos they break, which things they did to break the Overton Window. The core is not factual issues or impact analyses.

Which movement is not ethically rooted? All these so-called movements are conflated with narcissism. The underlying message is that you are better than others. Result? You lie all the time. Think about what drives people. Is it power, reputation, truth, beauty, etc.? There is too much total nonsense about "values" these days. It usually results in everyone being really nice and liking everything exactly the same. Truth is more important.

Say you are 30. You have collected your values for 30 years and have a lot of emotional ties to your values. You may feel that your values are you. You cannot inform or identify this away. It is beyond naïve to think so. But people believe in such nonsense.

Values? Political sides have no values. Values are a collective lie. Many (unfortunately many with influence) claim that values solve problems. No. If you have an emotional need to think something, it is on an emotional level. Not on a rational level.
