Attention is political currency, and daily press briefings are the bank. Love this idea of opposition briefings to keep eyes on what matters. When media attention scatters, democracy suffers. We need consistent, clear voices cutting through the noise. Make it happen! 🎯

Dems are stuck in paralysis. Everyone's sitting around refreshing BlueSky/Tiktok, feeling the anger burn in their chest, waiting for someone else to light the spark.

Great leaders don't get chosen. They step up. They emerge from the trenches, fury in their hearts and fire in their words. (cont..)

Unity doesn't mean forgetting betrayals. It means recognizing we're all in this burning house together. And debating who lit the match won't save anyone.

We have to be bigger than our grudges. Stronger than our pride. The choice is simple: revenge or survival.

This revenge politics hits hardest not in our Twitter feeds or protest signs. It crushes our most marginalized neighbors.

Real talk: our anger is valid. Our wounds are deep. But we're letting them drive us to self-sabotage.

When marginalized groups campaign against leaders who were mostly allies but failed them once, I understand the pain. When others respond with "They didn't stand with us, so why should we stand with them?" I feel that hurt too.
But ...

Our Dem weakness? Pride over progress. Left & Muslim voices fought Kamala (their 90% ally). Now others boycott resistance. But revenge politics gets us nowhere - our vulnerable communities need ALL of us standing up. 🧵

waiting for someone else to rise up
waiting for permission
waiting for the "right time"
plot twist: we're the maincharacters of this story
always were
and together?
we're a fucking force of nature

Democratic leadership has mastered the art of armchair outrage—tweeting from climate-controlled offices while democracy unravels. We don't need performative posts: get out there & steal Trump's spotlight. @aoc.bsky.social gets it. Time to match the urgency of this moment with real, visible action.

The weaponization of media attention—a strategy perfected in 1930s Germany through the "Lügenpresse Trap"—is experiencing a dangerous renaissance in American politics. 1/5

The numbers tell a story: Obama's 2009 inauguration drew 1.8M to the National Mall. Last night's Trump #inauguration event? A 20K-seat arena, actual attendance is unconfirmed. The campaign projected 250K—but who knows how many people showed up to DC. Wouldn't a #votingmandate have bigger numbers?

Musk didn't build Tesla or SpaceX—he bought them. Media sold us a "genius inventor" story when he's actually just a rich guy who purchased other people's innovations. Wild how money can buy a "smartest man" reputation.

We must recognize that fear isn't a gift we should bestow—it's precisely the currency of power he (Trump) seeks to trade in.

A revealing yet under-discussed moment from the Presidential debate: Trump's admiration for Viktor Orbán, particularly his telling phrase 'They fear him.' This deliberate conflation of fear with effective leadership reveals a fundamental authoritarian tendency.
