The idea that Canada needs F35s to protect against Russia is a ludicrous fantasy because Russia's only aircraft carrier has a tug boat, due to how frequently its engine fails. Its captain will never have the bravery required to sail to Canada, and if it did, few pilots would risk landing on it.

Getting nuclear weapons would cost Canada way less than 5% of GDP. I think we could do it for under 2.5%

Trump can't pretend the USA isn't involved in the Israel-Iran war while it is intercepting Iranian missiles on Israel's behalf. The West needs to completely back away from the conflict or else Iran will have to close the Straight of Hormuz, sending oil to $150 a barrel.

Gardening is good for building strength if you're obsessive enough about it. For my OCD, I have to keep moving this plant around so it stays in the sunlight in our north-facing apartment. But the more I do this, the bigger and heavier it gets.

I am SO TIRED of hearing about MAGA talk about the defense "pivot to Asia." The money they are taking from Ukraine is NOT going to Asia. Asian countries still PAY FULL PRICE for American weapons, unlike Israel. Please desist with these ridiculous lies.

I feel like a lot of this could have been avoided if ICE just chose to dress differently and acted a bit more politely. Were the skull masks really necessary, for example? What practical purpose did it serve to depict human bones on their head attire?

Although technically it is legitimate for the US federal government to detain illegal immigrants, the way ICE looks while doing it is kinda gross. My nose wrinkles instinctively when I see pictures of them, as though a foul odor had wafted by. I would avoid sitting next to one of them on the bus
