damn, i'm genuinely enjoying wafrn. its cozy enough to be an alt, and has all the features i want out of an activitypub instance. and atproto support is a bonus!

It is surprising to me that none of the major platforms have actual _parental control_ features so that we can limit the amount of time that our parents can spend online, and which apps they’re allowed to use. I don’t worry about my teenager’s use of the internet at all, just my octogenarian dad’s.

Yeah, your first few **proper** OSM edits (with iD, JSOM, etc.) are scary as hell. But the community is (usually) very good at reverting newbie problems and explaining what you did wrong, and usually eager to help. Once you get over that hurdle... sky is the limit!
