Obviously I could bring up ethical concerns, but I know they’re not gonna wanna hear that. I know it would probably make most sense to bring up a specific example where I was given incorrect information, but I’ve been dodging this stuff left and right so I don’t really have that in my arsenal.

Some of the jokes didn’t go over for me while others knocked me on my ass. Definitely not a perfect book, and the actual mystery is pretty easy to sniff out, but it’s more about the fun of the ride for me.

I ended up getting into the weeds with flower language when I did a zine piece a coupla years ago. Highly recc Beverly Seaton’s ‘The Language of Flowers’ if you want more of a history/different interpretations, but there’s also the reliable ‘Floriography’ by Jessica Roux for a quick reference! :>
