If you accept that non-citizens have no right to due process, you are accepting that citizens have no right to due process. All the government has to do is claim that you are not a citizen; without due process you have no chance to prove the contrary.

It's discouraging to compare the current situation with past fascist movements. They have AI and, generally, much more powerful tools than the last time we fought them.
But at the end of the day, they still only have 206 bones and 5 liters of blood in their bodies. The problem remains solvable!

I'm not gonna say that celebrating ANYONE'S death is good.
But when the Ghost of Xmas Future shows Scrooge a vision of strangers mocking his death, the lesson we collectively take from that isn't, "Those are awful people." It's, "Scrooge really has some work to do on himself."
