My child’s concerted efforts to bankrupt me vis-a-vis food has given rise to what I’m calling “The Dragon’s Nest”. Which is essentially Mayak eggs nestled in a mound of short-medium grain Japanese rice and topped with sesame seeds, scallions, and chili crisp. Ngl it’s hella tasty

It’s been a month since I’ve managed to actually cook myself a meal so I’m pretty chuffed. Pan seared butter and herb turbo filets over a tomato, onion, and mushroom base with roasted fingerling potatoes. Topped with micro greens.
