I owned my '96 Fleetwood Brougham for 19 years. Would by one again in a heartbeat!

Also good looking as is the Vizsla!

If they would have imported the Shooting Brake I would be all over it. Saw one earlier this year in Germany and those are great looking!

Nice but unfortunately they always use the base Fleetwood for the professional car conversion.
I'd buy another '96 FB in a heartbeat if I had the garage space to store it. Really miss mine.

Probably not too expensive, it's a straight forward job on the W12

12.5 qts of 0w40, one Filter and a drain plug. I do the work myself so usually about $90.

Think of it as poverty spec V6 FWD stick shift Phaeton vs fully loaded W12 4-seater Individual spec Phaeton at 2.5 times the base price. Huge difference between the two extremes.

That very much depends on personal preference. I'm a luxury car guy first not necessarily an EV guy. The luxury part only comes into play in the higher trim levels so the minimum options I'd want would put the Air in the $90k or more range.
For someone else it'd be no doubt a great EV for $70k.

Thanks for giving me a ride in it. Definitely like it, it definitely feels luxurious inside and the ride is surprisingly smooth. Not sure about the value proposition though at least for a new one.

How's the ride compared to the Phaeton? Looks like it has the 20" wheels not the 19"s?!

As has been mentioned, Copa Airlines is your friend on that route, one stop only via Panama City!
Btw, this is a helpful website for figuring out airline routes

More importantly, I didn't realize SJPD had Caprice PPVs!! The 6.0 V8 version would be fun on the Lost Sierra drive.

don't forget the Maloo that was supposed to be sold as a Pontiac here in the states!

I buy well maintained ones, do a lot of preemptive maintenance up front (tires, trans service, all fluid changes, full suspension rebuild, complete new AC system, ...) and enjoy many years of use. My blue W12 has cost me an average of $1,400/yr in maintenance. An excellent value for my driving needs

There's no real short answer but generally speaking Phaeton maintenance costs are exaggerated IF you know how to work on your own cars and are willing to spend time to read up on common problems and how to fix those economically. Relying on mechanics can make it expensive and frustrating.

The CT6 lives on in China to this day and even got a facelift and the curved dash screens similar to the Lyriq.

You gotta go with the E63 S wagon 😁
October 20, 2025 at 5:31 PM
Nice! and it's even the wagon version too w/ proper (fake) wood siding! Love mine
October 14, 2025 at 5:04 PM
I'm ready for it , my Phaetons also have 8 😁

Sat in a Lucid Air and it definitely has that feel. I haven't been able to drive one yet but I'd definitely would consider one as a daily.
