Every time I hear someone criticize a movie or show's pacing I want to beat them bloody with a pipe wrench. That criticism is so incredibly overused that I get more annoyed by the criticism than any actual problem with pacing.

My most toxic parenting belief is that if you aren't regularly (obviously with mitigated exceptions) reading books (physical, not digital) to your kids, ideally at bedtime, you're making a parenting mistake.

Having a regular schedule does wonders for your rest and sleep schedule. If you're sleeping for varying lengths and at varying times, your body needs more sleep than if you sleep the same amount at the same time every day.

This is one of the most horrific things I've read in a while. The US truly is a horrifically evil place.
Children as young as *four* are being put in the position of representing themselves without lawyers/parents present in front of immigration judges in cases that will determine whether they are deported.
