Defeat is clear but to be even more clear, Trump won the popular vote by LESS than Hillary did in ‘16. And Dems down ballot outperformed Kamala. This was a win but hardly a mandate for Trump

Yea but about 40% of people don’t vote. He barely won the popular vote.

Won by less than GWB did in 04. Far less than Obama did in 08 and considerably less than Biden in 20. Hardly a mandate…

Harris barely lost this time. Trump barely got more EV than in 2016 and he won the popular vote by less than Hillary did in 2016. Biden destroyed him in the PV. So what’s your point?

Again, barely a mandate. California just counts real slow

There are literally men on truth social and X chanting “your body, my choice” at women….i guess that wins elections? 🙄

Michael Hobbes is spot on. It wasn’t that Kamala’s campaign was too “woke” (thats laughable when she was out there saying we were going to have the most lethal military in the world lol). It’s that voters listening to right wing propaganda and lies got the wrong idea about her and/or her policies.

The GOP has moved farther to the right than the dem party has (talking about the people in congress, not “influencers”). At any rate, it’s clear that alt right wing figures had much more reach and pull than any leftist influencers and elites.
