Hi. I'm not all the way here from Twitter. Would love to find the epi, science, long covid communities.

So far the few people I have followed are those who posted handles on FB. So msg if this Nick's unfamiliar.
I didn't actually realize the law made of distinction as opposed to there being definitional distinctions in DSM / psych research...

Technical definitions based on whether someone is attracted to prepubescent or mid-pubescent underage children are a weird thing to fall back on as an attempted defense.

There is a distinction in how attraction to non-adults is classed psychologically/definitionally, which is not at all relevant to the criminality or morality of someone's actions with those too young to consent.

So the pull-quote is accurate and irrelevant; am not in a space to watch the full clip.

He's already not whipping against it, rules committee Rs told him they won't do anything to block it, and expectation is potentially dozens will vote for it, because why not at that point.

Johnson isn't moving the vote up in hopes of stopping it, he's trying to do it before they get to two thirds.

Yeah I learned that later. Taking SNAP out of the available blackmails is not nothing. No confidence in the ACA vote.

Russ Vought will take this as a green light to keep ignoring Congress
I see nothing in here that would require the White House to actually spend any available funds, prevent rescissions or withholding of payments, or do anything to change what has become an unsettling status quo in this calendar year.

Yeah this is a different deal tonight, of here will fund a bunch of stuff and you're going to agree to have a vote on the healthcare premiums in december. A vote. As in in exchange for f****** nothing.

Sadly the rumor is not wrong about whether there's a terrible deal up for a vote later tonight.
