Im Schweizer Kanton Tessin steht die erste Photovoltaik-Anlage in Europa, die man an das öffentliche Stromnetz angeschlossen hat. Nach 40 Jahren liefert die 10-kW-Anlage aus 300 PV-Modulen auf fast 500 Quadratmeter Fläche immer noch Solarstrom.
