That's... not terribly helpful. Trying to figure out if it was "simply" dissociation. Like anyone reasonable of course I'm digging through academic literature and clinical scales, not just talking to other hypnosis aficionados.

XD I'm a little less sold on the response expectancy theory of hypnosis now, but god damn this is gremlin. (Mostly shifting from considering expectancy as a sole cause, now a clear mediating variable.)
