Yes, also science is a tool. It can be used for any political purpose. Marching as if science was "neutral" is neglecting important discussions about the implications of science in war, colonialism. Universities not actively against fascist politics are as dangerous as no science.
There is a teeny tiny very uncharitable part of myself annoyed with the scientists who have suddenly discovered activism because our funding is at stake, none of whom did shit in all the years a handful of us tried to make it less predatory and full of harassers.
